Meet the instructor
Aisha Smith
Aisha Smith is a certified school psychologist (K-12). She was born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago. She has spent over a decade working in public schools and has advocated for the development of educational programming for hundreds of students with various learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, Autism, ADHD, speech or language impairments, visual impairments, and orthopedic impairments.
She has also served as Therapeutic Team Lead and Positive Behavior Intervention and Support Coach. Aisha has extensive knowledge of school-based support teams within multi-tiered support systems and has helped school teams establish a more welcoming environment for students, regardless of disabilities or backgrounds. She is on a mission to support other educators in doing the same.
